Paul Hayes doing what he does best (Scoring Goals), and a little bit of luck for Forte, is about all you can say from Saturday. Chesterfield like The Iron played well in places, bright spot was the introduction of the trialist Alex Mowforwho has been invited back for us to have another look at him, perhaps he will play at Lincoln City on Wednesday night?.

Just another day for Scunny fans but another clean sheet as The Iron beat Boston United 3-0 and 2 goals for Paul Hayes.

Shame about the Party at the Park I was looking forward along with the rest of the SUOSC getting new members and various other things to benefit the fans, like:-

Well got up early, was going down to G.P to get my tickets for Charlton Athletic but when I checked on the Iron website the ticket office is closed today, what can I do now?, hope they are putting some ticket window on the outside of the office building allowing easier access to get tickets.
Will just have to go tomorrow to get them.


Just like to start my blog with I am looking forward to the new season, I have been supporting The Iron Home and Away for 40 years now(yes i'm an old git), and I don't think I have ever been so excited about the new season as I am now.
