SAM SLOCOMBE: Goalkeeper. Spotted playing for a local Sunday League side, shows maturity well beyond his age. Won the Club's Young Player of the Year award in his first season with the Club, producing a string of fine performances that helped the team to have one of the best defensive records in the league.
PHIL CUTLER: Defender. Previously with Brigg Town, second season at the Club, now club captain. Right-sided player who gets forward at every opportunity. Links up well with his team-mates.
CARL La ROCCA: Defender. Former Nettleham player, central defender who is one of the best headers of a ball in the League.
ROB SMITH: Defender. Recent addition to the squad, young player who shows much maturity for his age, has played at Unibond level with Ferriby United. Started his career as a junior with Scunthorpe United, managing a handful of appearances for the first team.
VAS NIKOLAIDIS: Defender. Previously with Winterton Rangers, third season at the Club and has made the centre back spot his own. 'Mr Versatile' of the team (the only position he has not played in is in goal!!). Can play anywhere, has skill and pace to trouble defenders when he goes forward.
PHIL JACKMAN: Forward. Recently joined the Club having previously played his football in local league in Hull, very strong and talented player and has the capability to be a prolific goal-scorer.
ANDY SHARP: Midfield. Another ex-Winterton & Brigg Town player in his third season at Birch Park. A busy player with a good workrate, well capable of getting on the scoresheet.
KEVIN LARVIN: Midfield. Had experience with Leicester City Academy. Skilful quick player with a tremendous work rate. In the final games of last season he scored several important goals that helped the team win promotion.
JAMIE LEECH: Forward. A strong forward who likes to run at the defence, previously played for Bridlington and Brigg Town - where he scored a cracking goal at Tranmere Rovers in the first round of the FA Cup. Began last season with a flurry of goals and is hoping to hit the back of the net again this season with regularity.
PAUL CHATTERTON: Forward. Another former Brigg Town player, made his was back to full fitness after a non-football related accident threatened his career. Showed what a good finisher he is by ending the season as the Club's top goalscorer despite not playing from Easter onwards.
JOHN BAROSS: Forward. Joined the club in October '05 - has the knack of getting into the penalty area on the blind of defenders and had an impressive first season in CMFL, netting a goal every other game. Recently returned from coaching in the United States but due to family commitments not yet available.
LIAM CATTERMOLE: Defender. His second season with Bottesford, had experience with Hull City Centre of Excellence and Bridlington Trinity. A left-sided defender who rarely wastes a ball out of defence.
STEVE CARTER: Midfield/ Forward. Recent signing from neighbours Barton Town having previously played for Brigg Town, a very experienced and talented player who crafts out goals for the team, has blended in well with the team.
CRAIG MITCHELL: Forward. A young, tall midfield player who has been with the Scunthorpe United Youth Team. In the short time he has been at the club has shown he is a good passer of the ball, a useful player to have in your squad, found the net several times in the handful of games he played.
SAM THORNE: Midfield. Previous clubs include Grimsby Town, Armthorpe and Brigg Town, a recent signing who is hoping to rekindle his career by establishing himself a regular in midfield.
CRAIG LILL: Defender/Forward. Recently rejoined the club having played at Conference league level with Gainsborough Trinity, very versatile player and likes to play attacking football, also has the ability to score 'spectacular' goals.
SIMON DRAYTON: Forward. New player to the Club this season, experience at Unibond level with Brigg Town and previously with Gainsborough Trinity, certainly knows where the goal is.
SIMON ROACH: Forward/Midfield. Former Brigg Town player who has made a number of appearances this and last season, now a regular team member whose experience and versatility together with his goal scoring ability will be a great asset to the team.
RALPH 'RAZ' CLAYTON: Manager. Twice won the FA Vase in his 17 year reign as manager of Brigg Town and guided them into the UniBond League during his last season there. One of the most successful managers in modern-day non-League football outside the Conference. In his first full season in charge at Birch Park he took Bottesford back into the Supreme Division of the Central Midlands League after an absence of three seasons and led them to the title during the campaign just finished. Has a wealth of knowledge about the game and is something of a master tactition.
