

BRIGG Town, nicknamed the Zebras, are one of the oldest clubs in England, having been formed in 1864.
In 1948, Brigg Town became the founder members of the Lincolnshire League. And in 1949/50 the Zebras won their first league title.
They went on to win the Lincolnshire League a further seven times before being elected to the Midland Counties League in 1976.
At the formation of the Northern Counties East League in 1982, Brigg were placed in Pision One. They got promoted to the Premier Pision in 1985.
In 2001, won the Premier Pision by a staggering 10 points.
The 1995/6 season was the best in the club's history when the Zebras lifted the FA Vase at Wembley, after beating Clitheroe 3-0 in the final.
In the 2001/02 season, Brigg reached the first round proper of the FA Cup for the first time, where they played Tranmere at Prenton Park. They lost 4-1.
Brigg won the FA Vase again in 2003, beating AFC Sudbury 2-1 at Upton Park.
A third-place finish in the Northern Counties East League Premier Pision in 2004 saw them promoted into the UniBond League first Pision where they currently ply their trade.
