They won easily against Turkey and they were unlucky not to score more having being denied by the woodwork 3 times. I thought the Swiss deserved a point against the Czech Republic. Group B Austria put in a great fight against Croatia. Croatia dominated the match in the first 30 minutes, but then after that it was all Austria. I also can't believe what I heard on the BBC earlier. They said 10,000 Austria supporters signed a petition for the team to be eliminated from the tournament. These 10,000 wanted them out because they didn't want to see the team get humiliated. What kind of support is that? Germany won comfortably tonight, but the 1st goal shudn't have stood as the scorer was in an offside position when the ball was played. I can't wait for tomorrow's matches in Group C, especially the Netherlands v Italy match. I think that will be a great game with great players on both teams. I can see a goal feast in that match. I can see the first shock happening tomorrow night with the Romania v France game. I can see Romania getting a point. Then Group D I think Spain will beat Russia easily and I think Sweden will beat Greece. |

The knockout matches have been so unpredictable. |
