Deco is an excellent signing for Chelsea. He did enough to convince me that he will make the grade in The Premiership. I think they will win the title this season. I mean Scolari thinks that he is the new "special one" Man United looked sluggish again on an opening game, like they were last season against Reading at home. They won't be too concerened though. They will miss Ronaldo with his injury. They also didn't have Tevez, Hargreaves, Nani and Anderson yesterday. They are not in Ronaldo's league obviously but some good quality players missing on the injury list. It will be interesting if they sign Berbartov from Spurs. I think Ferguson might play Rooney just behind Tevez and Berbartov. Ronaldo will be on the right, Giggs left and Carrick/Hargreaves/OShea in a defensive midfield role. Liverpool will finish 4th again I think. Robbie Keane is a decent signing for them but I am not sure if Liverpool have what it takes to win the big games. I hope they keep the gap close and make the league more exciting. I however doubt it with Benitez in charge with his daft squad rotation. Arsenal will finish in a comfortable 3rd place. They won't be challenged by Liverpool or any of the outsiders. I can see the distance of points total from Chelsea and Man United to Arsenal increasing. I again hope that I am wrong. |
